The F. A. Lange Watchmaking Excellence Award, a project to promote talented young watchmakers, now entered its 5th round. Eight up-and-coming watchmakers from Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Finland and the USA are competing to win a cash prize of 10,000 Euros. The task is to construct a moon-phase display based on the standard ETA 6498 calibre. They now have time until beginning of October to come up with a design solution.
