The 2015 summit will explore the opportunity that blue growth presents for business, governments and the international ocean community. It will identify practical and realistic solutions that reconcile economic development with environmental sustainability, and offer a toolkit for action that participants can take back to their organisations.
For its third participation, Blancpain expends its supports by being partner of the Ocean Innovation Challenge. The Ocean Innovation Challenge calls for pioneering minds to offer solutions which actively alleviate the tension between growth and sustainability.
Announced on April 13th, the three finalists, who are Eyes on the Seas, Liquid Robotics and Rightship. will present their innovations at World Ocean Summit and the final winner will be decided by the expert judging panel during the summit.
