On Wednesday, October 15, 2014, retailer Maier in Lyon, France, celebrated the launch of its exhibition “Journées des Grandes Complications Horlogères ” presented notably in partnership with the House of Breguet. Excited to discover or rediscover remarkable masterpieces, 400 VIP guests joined the first edition of this event dedicated to high complicated watches. At this event, Breguet highlighted eleven complications, including the Classique Chronométrie, the Marine Chronographe Haute Joaillerie and exclusively the Classique Tourbillon extra-plat automatique, a novelty of this year. Mr. Johann Schneider-Ammann, Swiss Federal Councilor, presented this coveted award in front of an assembly of more than one thousand guests comprised of watchmaking experts and influential notables from the fields of art, politics and economics. The televised occasion opened with the Breguet Classique Dame winning the Public Prize. These exceptional results signal Breguet’s outstanding comeback at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).

After receiving the “Watch of the year 2014” and “GQ Time Award” only a few days ago, we happily accepted the first prize in the “Calendar” category for the RICHARD LANGE PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Terraluna” at the 14th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).
