Taking a closer look on our 2015 debuts:

ZEITWERK MINUTE REPEATER

For the first time in a mechanical watch, the ZEITWERK MINUTE REPEATER combines a jumping numerals display with a decimal minute repeater. The complex striking mechanism chimes a low-pitched tone for each elapsed hour, a double tone for each elapsed ten-minute period and a high-pitched tone for each elapsed minute. This way, the time as sounded corresponds exactly to the time as displayed.

SIHH 2015: Vacheron Constantin is happy to present a brand new collection: Harmony. These iminently contemporary timepieces feature a new cushion shape and a design inspired by one of the brand’s first wristwatch chronographs introduced in 1928.

The first timepiece in this collection is a monopusher chronograph housinmg the manufacture calibre 3300 fully developped inhouse and featuring the Geneva seal. Endowed with a substantial 65-hour power reserve, this monopusher chronograph movement adopts the classic architecture of the new chronograph movements presented by the Manufacture to mark its 260th anniversary, while benefiting from modern production technologies. For the anniversary edition, this model is issued in a limited, individually numbered edition of 260 in pink gold with a hand engraved balance cock whose arabesques are inspired by those fopund in jean-Marc Vacheron's first watch from 1755. In this world preview held at Geneva’s Cité du Temps, “La Tradition Breguet, at the heart of an icon” tells the story of an emblematic collection in which each creation is an invitation to embark upon a unique journey. On show until February 22nd 2015, this retrospective offers a striking visit subtly mingling historical and modern aspects in revealing the heart of a timepiece that holds a unique place within the world of Haute Horlogerie.
