At the occasion of this 6th edition, more than 1200 guests came to visit the splendid salons of the brand. They got the opportunity to taste the wines of Charles Bonvin Fils vineyard together with delicious specialties of Valais. The “Grossglockner Grand Prix” along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road in Austria was one of the most prestigious motor sports events of the 1930s. This weekend, the revival of the race takes place for the third time, sponsored by A. Lange & Söhne. The 14 kilometre course with 93 curves, 14 hairpin-curves and an altitude difference of 1200 meters is accessible for spectators.

The winner will be invited for an exclusive stay in Dresden and a view behind the scenes of the A. Lange & Söhne manufactory.

At the Discovery of Nearly 240 Years of Horological Innovations

On Thursday, September 4, Breguet celebrated the official inauguration of the first Asian stop of its 2014 tour. This not-to-be-missed exhibition presents a selection of revolutionary inventions that forged the brand’s prestige for nearly 240 years.

To celebrate the arrival of its exhibition in China, event coinciding with the launch of the Tourbillon extra-plat automatique 5377 on the market, Breguet organised an exclusive gala evening in three stages. Firstly, the company provided its guests an opportunity to relive key periods of its history through music with a magnificent performance by the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra at the majestic Shanghai Concert Hall. The concert continued with a gala dinner, and then the spectacular evening closed with a rooftop after-party overlooking the iconic city skyline.

The exhibition “Breguet, innovations that wrote History…” is on view until September 30, 2014, from 10:00 to 22:00, at the Breguet boutique of the Langham hotel (Xintiandi, Shanghai).
