After a seven-year absence, Breguet participates in the 14th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève with six exceptional timepieces. The brand’s watches, presented among over 200 pieces to a jury made up of recognized watchmaking experts, have all been selected for the next stage of the competition. Nominated in the categories Ladies’, Ladies’ High-Mech, Men’s, Calendar, Tourbillon and Striking, these timepieces will take part in the traditional GPHG’s travelling exhibition. They will be on view in New Delhi (Imperial Hotel and Swiss Embassy) on September 26th and 27th, in Beijing (Yishu 8 - House of Arts) from October 10th to 13th and in Geneva (Cité du Temps) from October 22nd to November 2nd . Introducing the new Traditionnelle Day-Date and Power Reserve model in the Collection Excellence Platine. Limited to only 100 pieces this watch not only features a 950 platinum 39.5 mm-diameter case but also a platinum crown and an uncluttered 950 platinum dial with a finely grained sandblasted finish and platinum thread in the stitching of the strap!.The face provides a central display of the hours, minutes and seconds, as well as providing pointer-type indications of the power reserve, the date and the day of the week.

At its heart beats a mechanical self-winding movement developed and produced by Vacheron Constantin – Calibre 2475 – graced with the kind of meticulous finishes that are the unmistakable signature of Fine Watchmaking: Côtes de Genève, bevelled and rhodiumed bridges and a circular-grained mainplate. The watch and movement bear the Hallmark of Geneva, an independent certification of origin, of craftsmanship, of durability and of expertise.
